Timo will be in Chicago and will be teaching a 5 day workshop evenings at Estudio Barrera. You can be assured he will be teaching Buleria, and if you ask anyone that has taken his workshops, they'll tell you that they're not only excellent classes, but great fun. He won't be teaching at the Northeastern Illinois University (Ensemble Espaņol) flamenco workshop, but he will be here.
If you don't know of Timo yet, go to his website at www.timolozano.com . Timo is a master dancer, choreographer, and teacher, well known both in the United States and around the Mediterranean. He can teach in both English and Spanish. Ask him if he has any more "King of Buleria" t-shirts....

2 separate levels per night Beginners: 6:30 to 7:45 Intermediate: 8:00 to 9:15. He will be available for privates on Saturday. Let's talk him into giving some cajon instruction too. |

Early registration price for a level is $150 for all 5 days, if registered and paid by April 26. Regular price for a level will be $175 for all 5 days. Estudio Barrera is a studio we have built for our enjoyment and the enjoyment of our friends and extended flamenco family. It is a non-commercial flamenco studio and dance space. Our friends know the studio is here for them. From time to time, we host workshops from visiting artists. We do not profit monetarily from this space, although hopefully, our karma is improved. |
