Intersection Interaction

Intersection Interaction

Material:  Steel, glass, road debris
Length:  24″ each module 8x8x8″

Comment:  I am a bicyclist.  By far the most plentiful material was sand and gravel, but a significant portion of the debris was automotive in origin.  After all it is their domain.  There was a surprising amount of other man made material, i.e. screws, nails, other building materials, manufacturing waste, miscellaneous household products, toys, eating utensils, motel room keys and money.  It is this treasure that fills the glass cubes in the center of each module.

I am also interested in how things are put together.  The 3 metal frames are each made of 6 identical parts, which were assembled using a technique I call slot and tab.
