The Eugene Mineral Club was organized in March 1946, to promote the collection and study of minerals and geological specimens, and the lapidary arts.

The Eugene Mineral Club is affiliated with
   the Oregon Council of Rock and Mineral Clubs,
   the Northwest Federation of Mineralogical Societies, and
   the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies.
