This is a collection of photos from the Austrian Alps that I took during the summer of 2006. The majority of them are from a day hike I took from Insbruck Alas, in the year and a half since that trip, I have lost the exact route of the trip. .(If you stay in any Insbruck hotel, there is a service that takes you to the Alps for a hike) This trip was bitter sweet. While I got to hike up and down a former glacier valley, I also got to look at pictures of the glacier that was there just 50 years ago. I have other collections of Austrian Alp photos in my pictures from Insbruck and fuschl as well as pictures of the Swiss and French Alps on other pages.
