Welcome to my photo galleries from Germany. Here you will find digital photos from my trip through Germany in 2006. When I was in Germany, I was there to be a tourist and I wanted to do touristy things. Therefore, the sites that I visited where high on the tourist scale and not so high on the culture scale.

However, to be more accurate, I visited Bavaria. I flew into Frankfurt and took the next train to Würzburg which is known for the Prince-Bishop Residenz. I then when to Rothenburg which is a recreated middle age town (at least the part that I went to). Then after a quick stop in Nürnberg I went to Munich for 4 days of exploring the city. While in Munich, I took a day trip to Neuschwanstein (better known as Mad King Ludwig's castle) where I fell in love with the scenic lake near the castle.

I also want to put a quick note here. I started my Web Page when I was in college way back in 1994. Back then, it was a hobby. I had time to do research on the places that I had visited and I enjoyed sharing it with others. 14 years and 2 graduate degrees later I no longer have the free time to do the research on my page. I debated long and hard whether or not to post my pictures of Germany (and Austria). 2 years later, I decided I would post the pictures of Germany and Austria to complete the web page that I started over 10 years ago. However, in doing so, I left out a lot of the History and Nuances of the country that we now know today as Germany. Any comments, please E-mail me,
