However, to be more accurate, I visited Bavaria. I flew into Frankfurt and took the next train to Würzburg which is known for the Prince-Bishop Residenz. I then when to Rothenburg which is a recreated middle age town (at least the part that I went to). Then after a quick stop in Nürnberg I went to Munich for 4 days of exploring the city. While in Munich, I took a day trip to Neuschwanstein (better known as Mad King Ludwig's castle) where I fell in love with the scenic lake near the castle.

   I also want to put a quick note here. I started my Web Page when I was in college way back in 1994. Back then, it was a hobby. I had time to do research on the places that I had visited and I enjoyed sharing it with others. 14 years and 2 graduate degrees later I no longer have the free time to do the research on my page. I debated long and hard whether or not to post my pictures of Germany (and Austria). 2 years later, I decided I would post the pictures of Germany and Austria to complete the web page that I started over 10 years ago.
