Würzburg Photos
When I visited Germany, my sole intention was to be a tourist and to do tourist things. I wanted to visit castles and see some of the German Alps. Well, apparently visiting Würzburg one of the most touristy things I could do. I have been told that Germans don't think of wurzburg as a "tourist" destination and only tourists go there. I am guessing that is because Würzburg is situated on one end of the "Romantic Road". Therefore, Würzburg became a part of the German Tourist Map.
That being said, I have nothing against Würzburg. It was a good place to start my Journey (I flew into Frankfert and I was told by several people to skip Frankfert). The part I liked the best was a mini garden of Versailles attached to the Residenz of the Bishop of Wurzburg. I also got my my exercise (and combated Jet Lag) by climbing up to the Marienberg Fortress. I hope you enjoy my photos Wurzburg. Any comments, please E-mail me, .
