Tom Senior, English Country Dance Instructor E-mails:

"Hello Dancers!
This is a reminder that we will dance in Evanston to celebrate my sister's birthday and the Leonid Meteor shower.  Putting on Aires will be playing, and there will be a number of new dances!
Last Wednesday we were bumped to a smaller room by a rummage sale preparation, but had a great time anyway!  Here is a list of dances we did: Alexander's Birthday, Lilburn's Trott, Highlander's Humour, Caravan Crossing, Charlene's Celebration, Night Cap, Durchess of York Street.

Looking ahead, you should mark your calendars for the third weekend in January, 1/16 & 1/17/2010, when Earl Gaddis and Karen Axelrod will be playing for an evening Scottish Ball and two afternoon English Country Dances!

Here is a note from the Central Illinois Dancers,  posted by: "Jonathan Sivier" jsivier@illinois.edu
Date: Sun Nov 8, 2009 . Our next dance will be in 4 weeks on Sunday, December 6, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Phillips Center.  This dance will be a preparation for the Christmas Ball on December 19.  So we will be doing dances from the set of dances that will be done at the ball.  I hope everyone will be able to make it to the dance on the 6th so at the ball we will be able to spend less time teaching the dances and more time dancing them. Jonathan
See you soon, Tom"
