I began shopping for a new car about three years ago. I was looking for something reliable, economical, and functional. I used the internet for both shopping and research and soon found that the CR-V would meet my needs. So I bought one. For many folks that would be the end of the story. In my case, it was more like the beginning. I now had all this cultivated knowledge and interest about things automotive which sadly my wife did not share. I became an online CR-V junky. I now post at both the HondaSUV.com and the Edmunds Town Hall.

Buster (my CR-V) is a 1999 Sebring Silver EX model with the 5 speed gear box. I purchased the OEM roof rack and floor mats when we got him. He is now three years old with more than 66,000 miles on the odometer. I've been tracking fuel efficiency since 9,000 miles and have an overall average of 25.5 mpg. He's never been to a garage for anything other than regular maintenance.
