GET IN TOUCH & STAY IN TOUCH!

There are several websites where you can look for old friends. Here are some we've found so far:

http://forums.delphiforums.com/unionhillhs/start - This is a fanatastic and FREE message board for Hillers. It was created by '77 UHHS graduate Cecilia Vaillant and we can all keep in touch there. Sign on as a guest to read messages or register (it's FREE). Get in touch with old friends from the Hill and make some new ones. There is also an active chatroom available (I think most folks opt for Friday nights but I guess you can go in anytime to see who's there). It's fun and it's easy. It's free to join & post messages to the board. If you get a paid membership, you can post pictures and html links as well.

http://www.union-city.k12.nj.us/school/uhhs/home.htm - This takes you to the website for Union Hill High School itself. They don't really provide alumni information but you can see what's going on there now and you may be able to get in touch with some of your old teachers if you like.

http://www.gradfinder.com - you can register there for free though you have to have a paid subscription for additional benefits, like access to other members' email. However, at least on this one, with free membership you can post to the message boards, view some of the other member profiles and I think you can post pictures in your profile.

http://www.reunion.com - you can register there for free though you have to subscribe to their "Alumni Access" program for additional benefits, like posting pictures and access to other members' email and member profiles. This is the merged effort of the old "highschoolalumni.com" and "planetalumni.com". Both of those used to be free - this one isn't and it's lost many of the features that Planetalumni.com used to offer.

http://www.classmates.com - this one has two options. One is a free registration which allows you to list with your class and read the message boards. If you do a paid membership it gives you access to email addresses, you can post to the message boards, and include a photograph and web listing in your profile, as well as other membership priveleges (I don't personally know what they are offhand since I don't have a paid membership).

http://www.schoolnews.com - This site is also mostly free. You can register and post a picture of yourself and see the class listings but if you want to email someone or access to member records, message boards and reunion postings, you need to pay a one-time $4.95 fee (as of 5/2003). It has the same features as the others though not as fancy.
