The Industrial Revolution

The industrial revolution was a time of great struggle and bad times for the poor.  The exploited working class lived in filthy cramped conditions where disease, starvation, and crime was prevalent. An estimated 50,000 people died from disease outbreaks and poor working conditions.  Many of these people who died were woman and children.
