World War II

The Japanese first invaded China in 1931, and their forces in China grew steadily throughout the years, until they launched a full out invasion of China in 1936, capturing vital towns and industrial parts of China. They subjected the Chinese people to atrocious treatment, and forced them to go through vivisections, mass chemical tests, and various other torture methods. Entire cities were pillages, including Nanking, where thousands of people were slaughtered and raped by the invading Japanese.
