Land Mines

Land mines are a terrible problem that has come about because of mans warring nature.  In Afghanistan the land mine problem is at it's worst, an estimated 400,000 people have died and millions more left crippled.  Many crippled are children and women. These land mines are the direct result of the cold war, which has left many other countries littered with land mines.
