Here’s what some parents have to say about “Exploring Music”

My son, Dorian, loved going to Exploring Music and was very disappointed to find out that once (all day) kindergarten started he wouldn’t be able to attend.  I’m happy to say that two years later, he still sings many of the songs he learned in class.  It was a wonderful experience that he will cherish for a lifetime.

~Brenda Molife

“Not only has my four-year old learned about things like styles and tempo, but he’s learned to explore ways to make music with household items and discuss whether a song sounds happy, sad, or scary.  He now has an appreciation of music at a whole new level.”

~Wendi LaCivita

“Two of my children have had the privilege of participating in this class.  It was great fun for both of them.  As a parent, I was very impressed with the knowledge and love of music which they gained as a result of this very worthwhile class.  The gentle and loving manner in which the class is taught is important for any parent looking to introduce their child to the world of music.

About the Instructor

Kerry Campbell graduated in 1993 from Bridgewater State College with a degree in Elementary Education.  She has sung in several local choirs and is a cantor at St. Basil’s Chapel in Bridgewater.  In seeking to give her own children a musical foundation from an early age, Kerry developed much of the curriculum she now uses in the “Exploring Music” class.  Her goal in presenting a variety of creative musical activities is to foster a life-long love of music in the lives of children.
