3-20-03: I have a new vibratory tumbler and a Caswell copycad plating kit. So, I've cleaned up all the little hardware pieces with a small parts cleaner, then the wirewheel or rough tumbling, then plating, then fine tumbling. Works great! Here are parts in various stages of cleanup or plating:

3-30-03: Front rim finally laced up - looks awesome.
It is a WM-3(2.15") valanced rim from Valante. It took me about 2 hours to lace it. The hub was tumbled and clear powdercoated. Also, it has new bearings pressed in.
