My email address is ezo@comcast.net No e-bookFor any of those who were anticipating my Raw, Wild New England e-book, I am sorry to announce that I have decided to discontinue work on it. Right now, it is more important that I focus on creating T-shirt designs so you call can buy ethical, environmentally friendly and beautiful clothing, the main mission of Delicious Dyes. Green for LifeI just finished reading the book Green for Life by Victoria Boutenko. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in overcoming their health challenge or maintaining good health. The take home message of this book is that we all should be eating more dark green leafy vegetables. In addition, I had the opportunity to meet Valya Boutenko at a raw potluck. Valya is the daughter of Victoria Boutenko, is a succesful author herself, and has been a raw vegan from the age of 8. For more information about the fabulous Boutenko family, see www.rawfamily.com May 3, 2008 - Going Wild!I am working on writing an e-book about foraging for raw, wild, natural foods in New England. Eating locally grown food saves gas, because your produce doesn't have to be shipped around the world to get to your plate. In fact, you can probably gather enough wild greens from your backyard to replace 1 meal per day. How splendid! Not only are wild greens good for the environment, but they are also good for you. Red clover extracts are often sold in whole food stores as a dietary supplement to prevent fatigue and relieve premenstrual symptoms. Few people know that red clover is a weed growing in their backyard, and that fantastic health can be achieved by taking advantage of the free wild greens growing all around them. In my e-book I will write about how to gather wild raw foods and prepare them in a way that preserves all of their natural goodness. It will include photos and recipes galore! The e-book will be available for sale on this website for the low price of $5. The money saved by gathering your own food will quickly surpass the price of the book, and you will also be supporting Delicious Dyes. April 13, 2008Today I added a page of inspiring links and this news page. I am working on setting up a paypal account so that in the fall I will be able to open the online store. I am constantly continuing to improve my skills with dying, natural fabric painting, and batik. Check back often for more updates!
