i, my name is Star and I love to do Obedience and Agility. My favorite things are jumping and going really fast through tunnels. I try to do my best because my mom gives me cookies when I do my
exercises right. I train at the Leading Edge Obedience in Pensacola, Florida. I live in Mobile, Alabama with my Mom, Dad and fur family Petey, Chloe, Kyle, Connor and Snuggles. I got my CGC when I
was 7mos. old. I am now 10 years old. I am training for Open and when I get the hang of that dumbbell down pat my mom says I can go to another trial. It is going to be fun because in Open I get to
jump a lot. I like it when I do good because everyone applauds and I love to show off for the crowd.
I am a color-headed white. A color-headed white is genetically a sable, black, or merle dog on which the white factoring has created a white or spotted body coloration. They are produced by mating two Shelties carrying the white factor. They are defined as those Shelties which have over fifty percent white. The head is always normally colored and marked . Bodies may be entirely white, solid colored with white spots or white with colored spots. Colored headed white are genetically unrelated to the homozygous or double merle whited and are not defective, nor do they produce defective puppies. Prior to 1952, white factor whited were allowed to compete in show competition but are not allowed to be exhibited at this time. I can compete in Obedience and Agility though.
My human mom and pop will write a little bit on my website and I will do some writing too. After all I taught them everything they know about dog performance. Often they are confused as to who taught whom and I rewrite some of the books they had read.
Now that I have introduced myself, let me introduce my mom. She is very serious with me and my training, but knows when I am supposed to work and then have a play time. She uses treats for training because I love brown rocks and will follow her every command. Most of the time.
As for my pop. He tries hard, but is a push over for my long eye lashes, soft white coat and big brown eyes. All I have to do is smile pretty and I get a treat whether I am at play or supposed to be working. My pop gets into plenty of trouble with my mom.
My children are (Petey) Heatherway The Anchorman CD, NAJ, NA and (Chloe) Heatherway Love Blooms Here NAJ, NA
I am registered with the White Shetland Sheepdog Association , Inc.
