Rainbow Bridge

Heather at the Piano

Decorative Alphabet Letter Our first Sheltie, Lady Heather McTavish, was the love of our life. Heather came into our lives when our daughter, Mary-Allison wanted a puppy after losing Dolly, our Peek-a-Poo at the age of 12. Dolly had been a member of our family since Mary-Allison was 6 months old. I remember saying that I wanted a dog with little or no fur since Dolly required a lot of grooming. Well , she fell in love with a Shetland Sheepdog , just as full of hair as they come. She picked Heather up and never put her back down. They became best friends and you never saw one without the other. To my surprise, grooming was not a problem at all and Heather became the most wonderful dog anyone could ever have. We lost her suddenly at the age of 4 and our hearts were broken. We were just lost without our precious Sheltie. Heather, you will always have a very special place in our hearts and we will never forget you. I am going to be a very happy person when we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge. You can bark all you want to darling.

Our Children with Miss Dolly

Dolly, You kept me on my toes at all times. You were a little Houdini, escaping as a puppy and running in circles that made me dizzy. You were Snoopy sitting on top of your doghouse. You kept peace in the house when Sweetie would start screaming at night and keeping us all up. You were the only one to put a stop to that when you lifted your little head and out howled her. And you made us all laugh when you crawled on your tummy past Daddy when you were trying to keep him from seeing you sneaking out of your bed. Sweetie is with you now and I am sure you are keeping her in line. We love you. Dolly April, 1980 - January, 1992

Sweetie Cat Sweetie, I will never forget the first day we got you. Melissa had kept you in the Senior Lounge at school and you were laying on green construction paper. She brought home a little green kitten instead of a white one. You gave us so much love and all of your wonderful kittens. Emily and Princess miss their mommy. You gave us our wonderful Skippy, Patch , PJ , Simon , Blossom ,Maggie , Tucker , and the royal princess that Melissa has, Annastasia. I know you and Dolly are having an interesting time at the Rainbow Bridge. Love ya, Sweetness.

Sweetie April ,1985 -April , 1998

Abbernathy Our First Siamese Cat

Abby, you were my first son. There will never be another Siamese cat like you. You had the best personality and everyone that met you loved you. You loved apples, olives, camellia's and most of all, you loved me. You slept right at my head every night. You knew what time I would be home and you were waiting in the window for me. I have not had another Siamese since you left me. You are one of a kind. I still get a lump in my throat when I think of you after all these years. Your little blue sweater that matched your beautiful blue eyes, is still packed away with your favorite toys. I love you Bernathy, with all of my heart.
