Old MCGOld Medical College

598 Telfair Street. (706-721-7238). Designed in the Greek Revival style by nationally known architect, Charles B. Cluskey. The college building was completed in 1835.It served as the home of the Medical College of Georgia until 1912, and was the first medical school in Georgia and was one of the first in America. Recently renovated, it serves as a site for medical college and community functions. Monday-Friday 9:00 to 4:00. tours by appointment. (NR)
