Historic Augusta, Inc.

Historic Augusta, Inc. is a private, nonprofit membership organization dedicated to the preservation of the historic built environment of Augusta and Richmond County, Georgia. Chartered in 1965, the organization has approximately 1,000 members. The office of Historic Augusta, Inc. is headquartered in the Boyhood Home of United States Supreme Court Justice Joseph Rucker Lamar (1860) located at 415 Seventh Street. In addition to the headquarters, Historic Augusta also stewards the Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson (1859).
