I started research on my
family genealogy in the mid-1970's. The purpose of this website is to
document the research and provide a common point for sharing information
with our families. All of the families listed have their roots in the
Kanawha County area of West Virginia and further back to the
Roanoke/Bedford County areas of the 'Old Dominion State.'
