Graduations

After the dogs have passed all 10 levels of formal training with licensed trainers at Guide Dogs for the Blind, they are matched with their person and go through additional training together. They learn how to work together as a team. After completion of all the training, the Guide Dogs and their partner graduate together in a graduation ceremony. Dogs chosen as breeders are also presented at the graduation ceremony. Puppy raisers of the Guide Dogs and the breeders are invited to the graduation. The graduations allow graduates and puppy raisers to stand on stage and have a chance to express their gratitude and to talk about their dogs. It is a great way to hear how these dogs are special and important in the visually impaired graduate and puppy raiser's lives. It also gives you a chance to learn more about Guide Dogs for the Blind.
