The Flowers of the New Gods

Summary
A hundred years after Meteor and Sephiroth's defeat, the members of AVALANCHE are considered to be heroes.
Vincent, Cait Sith, and Red are the only ones remaining remaining from the original group--Cait Sith, the robot, Red, because of his race, and Vincent, because of Hojo's genetic manipulations. They must discover why people who have the same features as their old companions have been showing up in small villages--and why they have the same tattoos as the Sephiroth Clones.
It's a search that will take them from the ruins of Midgar to the Northern Crater, and will result in the discovery that hatred never really dies...
Notes
I posted a writing meme in my LJ a while ago--the basis of which was for someone to post with a title I hadn't used, and I had to tell them what the story would be about. Nagia suggested this title, and, well, the idea grew on me.
