In the Deities section we discuss not only the key Deities of each religion, but also the important stories, art and culture necessary to understand how they fit in to the every day worship of them. Each section will cover several deities of each religious group but is not intended to be an exhaustive list: for instance there are well over 600 Celtic deities some of which were worshipped in only one town; but for the people of that town this made them no less important. We will select a set of Gods & Goddesses that we feel best represents or tells the story of that particular belief system.
