Myself and My Website
Welcome to my website! My name is Connie Hirsch and currently I am a student at The Career Institute of American International College, at the Cambridge and Woburn campuses, studying Digital Design and Enterprise Solution Designer programming courses. The purpose of this website is to show off the skills I have developed this year, which will eventually serve as a portfolio to get me real work.
Last year I was laid off from my job of ten years as an application programmer at Houghton Mifflin. I decided it was time to take stock of my life and career and pursue some career advancement. Little did I know then that I'd be studying the mysteries of Photoshop and the imposing complications of 3DS Max, as well as web design and Java. Before the year is out I'll have even more to show off here.
If you want to know the particulars, I have my resume posted on this site, but it is only current up to last summer -- life has changed a lot for me, and as I put together this site, I could see just how much it has.
