REFORMERS UNANIMOUS ADDICTION PROGRAM
First Baptist Church
7:00-9:30 PM --Friday Nights There are many recovery programs available in society today. You may have tried some of these and failed..and failed..and failed. One of the reasons for this is that the programs in society are based on self motivation. Their philosophy says thinking of yourself will give you power to resist the fierce temptations of you addiction.
Reformers Unanimous is a Christ centered program. The Bible tells us that you must first come to Jesus, and by coming to Christ you will be humbling yourself and saying "I know I cannot do this without God,s help" Philippians 4:13 reads I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Years of pain and addiction can paint a hopeless picture of bondage and imprisonment. Reformer's Unanimous will teach you that freedom is a way of life. Jesus said, I am the way,the truth and the life." He went on to say " You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free'
Every week the Reformers groups meet in churches across America to learn from the Bible and to discuss our addictions. After prayer we open with testimonies from students whom God has miraculously changed. We have group and individual counseling sessions, a complete curriculum with awards earned for challenges completed. We also teach a Bible lesson on what God says about addictions and recovery. We conclude with a time for snacks, encouragement, sharing and caring for one another. Everyone goes home with a message of hope, love and gratitude for God's goodness.. Please join us on Friday Evenings at the church
