| We are to place our trust and belief in the Gospel. This is the
death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ as defined in 1
Corinthians 15:1-4 Some would have you to believe it is believing the Word of God, and yes we need to believe the Word of God, but it is placing our trust in the Gospel that saves. "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory." (Ephesians 1:13-14 KJV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 KJV) Yes, God loves you, and died for you while we were yet sinners. His salvation is available to everyone just that it is not automatic. You must call upon Him, you must trust Him, You must Believe that Jesus died for you, was buried and on the third day rose from the grave. DO YOU BELIEVE?
