First Baptist offers a wide range of ministries to meet your spiritual needs. Currently we are updating
our ministries so keep checking back and most of all come by and worship with us - V HAPPENINGS
Sunday School Ministry 10:00 A.M.
We are a church that believes in Biblical Discipleship. Discipleship of the Believer is a command
to the New Testament church. We have several phases of discipleship. They are all self study which
is completed at home and then we meet Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM to discuss what we have learned.
ADULT DISCIPLESHIP
- Phase 1 Discipleship - a short study for the new believer.
- Phase 2 Discipleship - an expanded study for new believers. (ABC of Christian Growth)
- Phase 3 Discipleship - a study in deeper doctrinal truths for the believers (ABC of Christian Maturity)
- Phase 4 Discipleship -
Currently we are in phase 3 discipleship in our church. The previous two phases are one-on-one with
Pastor Miguel and Phase 2 is now available in Spanish for those wishing to study the Bible in Spanish.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
- Sunday School for the Children 10:00 A.M.
- Children's Church 11:00 A.M.
Wednesday Bible Study and Prayer Service - 7:00 P.M.
Currently we are doing a Series: The Major Doctrines of the Bible.
We recently have began our study on the doctrine of Eschatology - the doctrine of last things. It is a study
of end times and the various views. Bring your Bible and come study this exciting doctrine with us!
Monday - Ladies Bible Study - 7:00 P.M.
Our Ladies ministry meets for Bible Study and Prayer each Monday evening. They recently completed
a study through the Gospel of Mark: Be Diligent!
Tuesday - Martial Arts Ministry - 6:30 P.M.
We offer FREE Martial Arts Self Defense classes for all ages 8 years old and up - and yes, it is
available to adults too! We have two certified black belt instructors. Our classes are taught from
a Christian Perspective.
