1943 Censored, commercial airmail cover. Mailed from Addis Ababa on 21.3.43. Opened by British censor in the Sudan and sealed with "OPENED BY EXAMINER 31" censor tape. The censor tape is tied by a triangular handstamp inscribed "PASSED CENSOR SUDAN 19." The Ethiopia franking includes Sc. 247, 249 (x7), and 251. The total franking of 152 centimes was correct at that time for a single weight airmail cover to the U.S. All stamps depict Emperor Haile Selassie I in coronation dress and crown.
