1984 Wellcraft 166 American

Mercruier 140 HP Stern drive

This is my first boat. I bought it and docked it at a friend's family's house on New Jersey's Lake Hopatcong. It was my first boat. It had a 16 foot LOA.

I remember it ran in the low 40's empty and trimmed way out. Here I was waiting for to begin a pull for a water skier.

1985 Wellcraft 210 Elite XL

Mercruiser 260 HP Stern drive

This is my second boat. I decided that a cuddy cabin boat was better than an open bowrider. Besides, it never hurts to have a faster and bigger boat! This 21 footer would run in the mid 50's. It was pretty good to ski behind too, with the power to pull three. But, weighing 3,000 pounds and with a 20 degree deadrise (at the transom) it had a bit of a wake.

1987 Wellcraft Antigua 265

Mercruiser 260 HP Stern drive

This is my third boat.

I bought it just after it was introduced, from the catalog. (Yes, sight unseen!) My only regret was that I did not order the boat since I would have ordered the 330 horsepower engine!

Note that the sheer stripe is gray on this boat. As far as I know, this is the only Antigua produced with a gray sheer stripe. The standard colors were blue and red. The factory allowed the dealer to order the gray sheer since production was just beginning.

1999 Sea Ray 330 DA Sundancer

Twin MerCruiser 310 HP V-drives

Just Ducky

This is my fourth and current boat.

This boat was in-stock at the dealer and they made me a good deal on it, because Sea Ray has superseded it with the new 340 model. The size of the 330 and 340 is the same, just the layout and arrangements have changed.

I had a choice between two nearly identical boats. Both boats had nearly every Sea Ray option already installed. There was only 2 differences between them. One had twin 310 HP engines and the other had twin 380 HP engines. The lower powered boat, also had the optional cherry wood finished interior, which the other boat didn´t. I spent several weeks attempting to decide which boat to get. I made several calls to Sea Ray and to Mercury Marine to get information about the different engines and power packages. Finally, I made a decision and purchased the boat with the wood interior.

1996 Kawasaki JetSki

750cc Two cylinder two stroke jet drive

Just Ducky Junior

JetSki1

I had been thinking of getting a personal watercraft (PWC) for some time, but wasn´t sure if I´d like it or not. I saw this one sitting on it´s trailer at a marina near where I keep “Just Ducky”. It seemed in good condition and the price was right, so I bought it. Needless to say, I like riding a PWC so now I need a better one.
