Puppy mills

The amish and mennonite people of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania are irresponsibly breeding dogs.  See the Philadelphia Inquirer and NY Post articles. Please remember to check  the breeder of the dog that you purchase, because these dogs are not well-bred and may therefore be problematic for you,  and no dog should be treated like that.

Roughly three and a half monts after we had to put Ducky to sleep, my wife found another Golden Retriver who needed adopting. Now we have another dog. The dog stories are here. woof!
