First Christian Church is a Progressive Church in the East Bay area. Our mission is to work for justice in our community and the world, and to share the love of God, made known to us in Jesus Christ, with all people.
We are an inclusive community and therefore make no exceptions welcoming people into full participation of the life and leadership of our church based on race, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, economic status, or disabilities.
First Christian Church is an alternative to judgmental bible-thumping churches many are familiar with. We welcome you to worship God with us in a non-judgmental and welcoming environment where healing is more important than condemnation!
