There was quiz on parametric equations and
conic sections
on Wednesday December 10. See solutions under Quizzes/Exams
The final exam for this course will be Mon. Dec 15 at 10 AM.
It will consist of short versions of each of the seven quizzes.
If you got a B+ or
higher on a quiz,
you may choose to NOT take that part of the final,
in which case I will incorporate your quiz grade into the final exam score.
If you DO take that part of the final and do better than you did on the quiz,
I will raise your quiz grade accordingly.
Wednesday of finals week
I will obtain a report of math lab hours logged by each student from the lab
personnel,
and give you 1 hour of attendance credit for each half-hour of lab time.
Makeup/retake
versions of the Applications Quiz and of Graphing Using Derivatives are
available in L207.
Ask the lab manager for a copy, to be done in the lab
and returned to the lab manager when you are finished.
There are some sheets of
problems on limits, calculating derivatives, and applications,
available as extra-credit homework
in the Math Lab L207 (2nd floor, library).
Ask a lab assistant for a copy to work on in the lab.
You must not take it out of the lab. Leave it with the lab assistant when you
are finished.
