Christmas 2011


    We first celebrated Christmas at home and then drove to Michigan to spend the holiday visiting Gail's parents and her sister's family. This gives us three opportunities to open presents.

The inflatables emerged Thanksgiving weekend when the weather was sunny and warm. We spent Christmas Eve at a neighborhood party, opened presents Christmas morning, and then left for Michigan about 9:30 am. As expected, there was little traffic.



We stayed at the Embassy Suites in Troy (which has a really nice breakfast buffet), and visited with Gail's parents and her sister's family.
