During a break from a computer conference, I went strolling in a local park.  A sand artist was there, doing his thing and drawing crowds who watched him work.  I spent some time photographing both him working and others watching him work.  Here are a couple of those pictures.  There are a few other photos from the trip, but I haven't had a chance yet to scan them in.

  I waited a while for these four people to line up just so so I could take the picture.

  The original picture has more information, but I wanted to focus here on just the hand doing the creating and the sand streaming into the frame.  I think this would've also looked good in color.
