On the way to Yosemite we stopped by an apple farm and picked up an apple
dumpling. We were tempted to get one of the apple pies made with 3lbs of
apples, but weren't feeling quite that hungry.
Notice the distinct uniqueness of our tent cabin.
Early one evening we saw two deer feeding. The telephoto didn't have to
zoom too far to get this picture.
Molly and Erica walking through one of the beautiful meadows.
Molly admiring the walls of the valley. This was on our first day, which
was very hazy and overcast. That's led to loss of detail in the rock
faces.
Erica admiring the walls of the valley.
Here's Gabe, Molly, Mike, and Erica on the way to the top of Vernal Falls.
Vernal Falls is in the background, causing the rush of water you see here.
We're walking along the Mist Trail to Vernal Falls. The sky was a bright
blue, but all the mist led to the picture appearing overexposed.
The approach to Yosemite Falls.
Getting closer to Yosemite Falls.
The footbridge crossing at the base of Yosemite Falls. This was relatively
early in the morning, before the swarming hordes of tourists arrived.
Here's a photo of those very same swarming hordes! While walking back from
Yosemite Falls someone spied, with their little eye, something beginning with
"C." (Answer: "crevice.")
When ya gotta go, ya gotta go. This was on the hike to the top of Nevada
Falls.
And lastly, a classic image.
