Like some bizarre Boy Scout cookout fantasy, this house beckons to be attached
to a wire hanger and placed over a roaring, open fire. In fact, it was
voted both "Most Likely to Become a S'More" and "Least Likely to
Survive Near Boy Scouts." Scott
Pullman and Molly Schlesinger
used an abundance of marshmallows ("Puffiest") to create a light,
ethereal effect. The foreground features one of the denizens of this
winner of the "Jay Lorch Memorial Award for Most Flammable."
Alternating red and green M&Ms, evocative of Christmas colors, highlight the
roof on this John Gardner
creation. An inviting green path, made of candy sprinkles and bordered by
pretzel sticks, clearly demonstrate why this house won the "Most In the
Spirit of the Season," "Most Livable," and "House Whose
Occupants are Most Likely to be Someone's Bitch" awards.
Still not enough?
Have you seen any good gingerbread houses
on the net? Let me know and I'll
post a picture here for all to see.
