The Letter Board!

The letter Board is used for communicating with patients in the advanced stages of MJD. It was created by Matthew Enos to communicate with his mother who has MJD. Here is how it works:

Go to http://home.comcast.net/~fernandesml/letterboard.pdf and print it out.

Directions:

"The blank space beneath the articles of clothing is for someone to write in whatever they want if they are able. Basically the person with MJD points at the letters and spells out what they want to say. The words listed above and below the alphabet are just short cuts to words frequently used by most people. Print it out on regular 8.5" by 11" paper. Using thicker paper (110 or over) holds up best. However, people should experiment with it, as I'm sure there are improvements yet to be made."
