The Friendship Force of Northern Colorado
is dedicated to "making friends and having fun while learning about
other countries."
We
organize home-stay exchanges,
serve as ambassadors
(travelers) on
outgoing exchanges and as hosts for incoming exchanges.
Individuals
or a family can join the
Northern Colorado chapter and participate by:
|
|
-
Coming to our meetings and cultural programs
on
the second Friday of each month.
-
Serving
as a Host and/or Day Host for an incoming exchange.
Members volunteer to be hosts if they are eager to
welcome citizens of other countries to their homes as
honored guests; sharing with them family, friends, and
life-styles.
-
Traveling
on an outgoing exchange. Members who choose to
travel with the club are called
"ambassadors." They are enthusiastic and
eager to understand and accept the cultural differences
and human similarities of all nationalities.
-
Volunteering
to present a program about another culture.
-
Attending
a special event with other club members.
-
Volunteering
to assist with various tasks that keep the club and/or
special activities functioning.
Participation
in our club is a great way to make friends,
experience new cultures, and establish new friendships
around the world. If you are interested in
