In early 2001 our Northern Colorado Friendship
Force received
permission from FFI to designate
Saratov, Russia as our sister
city.
Saratov
is a city in the region of Saratov in the nation of Russia.
Our first group exchange
to Saratov from the US, in May 2001,
was hosted by "kids" 16 and up from Saratov.

In
2002 the Saratov club recruited 20 applicants for the Library of Congress
Open World Forum for young Russian leaders. Ten were
accepted and obtained visas to come to Ft. Collins.
