("We play for weddings, bnei mitzva, or circumcisions -- on the cutting edge of Jewish music.")
We are amateur musicians in the South San Francisco Bay are who play the nigunim of the shtetlach -- the melodies from the little towns of the old country. It is "Fiddler on the Roof" type of music, but the real, echtige thing, not ersatz broadway
If you're planning a simcha and thinking of hiring professional musicians, do so. We don't want to take work away from honest musicians (or even dishonest musicians). But if you aren't thinking of having anyone -- we're better.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE (besides your hearing?)
WE ARE LOOKING FOR MUSICIANS TO JOIN US
If you love the music and would like to join, send me e-mail. Enthusiasm is more imporant than talent (though talent doesn't hurt either.) If you want to make a lot of money and have nubile youths of your gender preference throwing themselves at your feet - we probably can't help you. But if you love Jewish soul music - we're your band.
WE ARE (at the moment) TWO (we really do need more) (Zvi will come alone for a strolling fiddler gig).
