PETER JACOBS
Peter Jacobs has been a working visual artist for over twenty years. He has steadily exhibited throughout New Jersey and New York and is widely held in Museum, Corporate and Private Collections. Jacobs has had five Museum Exhibitions, including Face to Face, an installation of 27 mixed media portraits of artists at The Montclair Art Museum in 2003. Also In 2003, his work was selected for inclusion in two international Biennials, in Grobovo, Bulgaria & Florence, Italy.
Collage, Mixed Media, Photography and Painting enable Jacobs to intergrate his visual, musical and analytical philosophies. Each work is a product of process, or a visual equivalent to improvisational jazz. He intuitively constructs layers of color, rhythm, texture and imagery, resulting in formal and emotional environments.
