The Howard 500 , "An Operating Piece of Aviation History"

I spent 2 1/2yrs restoring this sole Howard 500. I am on my 3rd owner, and enjoy flying and maintaining it very much. It is a very demanding airplane as you could imagine a 35,000lb tailwheel plane could be. I have about 1000 hours in it and have nearly 6000 in radial engine aircraft from DHC2 to DC-3. I am working on an HU-16 Albatross that i hope to have finished by next summer. I also fly a Turbine floatplane and do a lot of float instruction when i am not flyfishing or building computers!!
