The wild old days of Soho and The Bowery! Come along as we explore the low-life haunts of old New York - saloon culture, bowery boys, fast men and faster women! This tour contains adult subject matter, so don’t bring the kids. Meet at Astor Place, in front of the old-fashioned IRT #6 Subway kiosk.

Saturday, Oct. 2---------6 P.M.---------PUBS AND POLTERGEISTS

We guarantee you'll see "spirits" (of one kind or another) on this fun tour of the far West Village. We begin and end with stops at two of our oldest and most haunted taverns -- and in between, you'll visit some of New York's most famous ghosts. Meet in front of St. Luke's in the Field Church on Hudson St. at Grove. COST OF DRINKS AND TIPS NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE OF TOUR.

Sunday, Oct. 3-----------2 P.M.----------WALKS IN OLD CHELSEA

Tour stately Chelsea, now one of New York's "hottest" areas. You'll soon see that this quaint old neighborhood has quite a past and lots of secrets we bet you never knew. Meet in front of the Flatiron Building at the intersection of Broadway, Fifth Avenue and West 23rd Street.

Once the farm of Dutch governor Peter Stuyvesant, the East Village was and is New York's most constantly-changing neighborhood! From the quiet 18th Century to the counter-culture of the '60's, the East Village has always been full of surprises. Meet at Astor Place, in front of the old-fashioned IRT #6 Subway kiosk.

Saturday, Oct. 9---------6 P.M.-----------GHOSTLY GREENWICH VILLAGE

Visit the haunts of some of our favorite departed New Yorkers, along with the sites of public executions, the beautiful but "cursed" Mark Twain house, Manhattan's second largest graveyard, and much more! Meet at the Washington Square Arch at the southern end of Fifth Avenue.

 

Sunday, Oct. 10----------2 P.M.------------GREENWICH VILLAGE PAST AND PRESENT

Learn the secrets of New York's most unusual neighborhood. From the 18th century to the present day, the Village has played an important part in the city's history. Home to many artists and writers, the Village they knew will come alive for you as you walk in their footsteps. Meet at the Washington Square Arch at the southern end of Fifth Avenue

 

 

 

 

Saturday, Oct. 16--------2 P.M.-------FROM UNION SQUARE TO MADISON SQUARE: IN TEDDY’S FOOTSTEPS

Learn about our nation's most fascinating president, Theodore Roosevelt, by exploring his roots and places where significant events in his life took place.  Along the way we'll see how this richly historic area looked during Teddy's lifetime, and we'll cover tidbits on some of our other U.S. presidents as well.  Meet on the North side of Union Square in front of Barnes & Noble on 33 East 17th St., between Broadway and Park Ave.

Ghosts of long ago still walk the trendy streets of Soho – meet them on this picturesque tour – plus, discover the "ghost" of St. John’s Park, a once elegant neighborhood that has all but vanished. Meet at the corner of Prince and Mott St. in front of Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
