SOME SPECIFICS

ROUTER: Porter Cable 75182, 3-1/4 hp, soft start, 5 speed. I bought just the motor, so it will be dedicated to the table.

TOP: 27 by 44" by 1-13/16" thick. It is 36" high. It was a 4' by 9' solid core door, laminated on both sides. I sanded one side so I could put the white laminate on it. The bullnose is red oak, splined to the top.

ROUTER LIFT: PRL (Precision Router Lift). The lift system allows bit changes to be made above the table. The chuck is an Eliminator quick change chuck.

FENCE SYSTEM: Incra Jig Ultra 24" system.

BASE: 19 by 35 ". The overhand allows C clamps to be used with the screws under the table. Red oak was used for the framework. The panels are 1/4" luaun plywood. The light border around the panels is pine 1/4 round, routed so that it provides a frame for the panels. There are two 1/2" leveling feet attached to the legs under the router end of the table.

POWER: Power is supplied to a duplex outlet by a pushbutton switch on the right side of the table. The router is plugged into one of the outlets and the shopvac into the other.
