Europe Trip '99: Iceland, Greenland, Greece, and the Black Sea

Lasting from July 22nd to August 14th 1999, this was one of the best trips I've ever taken.  In particular, Greenland and the total eclipse rank high among the most impressive things I've been fortunate enough to lay eyes on.

I spent 3 nights in Greenland, then a week in Iceland.  I then flew to Athens where I met up with my brother Dave & his family.  When then boarded the Olympic Countess on a 7-night cruise in the Aegean and Black Seas, capped by a view of the August 11th total eclipse of the sun.  Special thanks to Dave for inviting me along on the eclipse cruise which led to this trip.  I've also put together a list of frequently asked questions.

Highlights of the trip are shown at the below pages, broken out by country and.  Each page has a link to the next & previous pages.  I've opted for a low-tech, frame-free layout that should work for everyone.  Enjoy the pics, and feel free to send me comments or questions.
