Week 7 – April 24 |
|
Yankees Game
ball Award went to Patrick Patangan who went 2 for
2 with a double and another triple and solid defense. Connor Shoemaker,
Connor Brady and Jack Shea all had triples as well Bombers With only 7 players the Bombers fought a hard battle.
Jayden Page had a phenomenal game hitting 3
for 4 with; a double, 2 runs and an RBI. Defensively he had two
fielding solo outs and two fielding assists outs including a double play and
earned the game ball. Knights
(Tadpole) Matthew Cordek hit his third
homerun of the season. Raptors Paige Koren hit a walk-off
double. Alex Koren, Brian Koehler and Jacob Loveland turned a 4-3-2 double
play. Nate MacKay when 3 for 3 all triples. |

Week 6 – April 18 |
|
Yankees Game ball award went to Jack Shea who went 3 for 3 with a double and 4 RBI's! Also Patrick Patangan hit a triple Bombers Dylan Page had a great game earning
the game ball with a great triple at the plate. |

Week 5 – March 28 |
|
Yankees Game Ball awarded to Stone Henderson who went 4-5 and scored 4 runs! Patrick Patangan also had 5 RBI's. Bombers James Patrick Dell'Alba stepped up to bat at the bottom of the 4th inning with the game tied and a runner on 3rd base with two outs. He calmly and confidently knocked in the winning run completing 3 for 3 at bats, with 2 runs, and the RBI. Defensively he fielded two outs, one solo and one assist. Suns Joseph Khouri made an unassisted double play, narrowly missing a triple play and he also drove in a run Magic Jacob Jones received the game
ball for his fielding at first; as well, as a big hit to drive in a run to
end the game. Trae Hale had his first hit and
scored his first 2 runs. Ricky Dodge went 3 for 3 with 4 RBIs. Trey Calhoun
and Alan Meyer went a combined 5 for 7 driving in 5 runs and scoring 6. Inferno Brady Jones 2 for 4 with 2 RBI,
and pitching for the first time to close the win. Logan Rust 2 for
3 with 3 RBI including game winning RBI. Austin Jones 4 for 4 with 4
runs. Raptors Paige Koren pitched her first
full inning of her young baseball career. Jacob Loveland decided he wanted to
play baseball this weekend even though he and his family were vacationing in
central |

Week 4 – March 21 |
|
Marlins Captain Ja’lon Jones had 2 sacrifices and a clutch hit. Steven Vermut drove in 4 runs with his fine hitting. Yankees Connor Shoemaker hit a Grand Slam!!! Bombers Carson Dell'Alba must have hit 15 foul balls but wouldn't give up. He kept swinging hard to eventually knock in the game winning run. He rounded out the game with some awesome field play and earned the game ball. Knights Game ball was awarded to Charlie Pellicer for his outstanding play in the field and going 3 for 4 and driving in the game tying run w/two outs in the last inning! Raptors Dawson Wakefield caught 2 consecutive fly balls in center field which had a huge impact on the outcome of the game. Nate MacKay hit a two-run homer. Alex Koren hit a two-run walk-off homerun. Inferno Everyone on the team had a base hit in the game. |

Week 3 – March 14 |
|
Knights Matthew Cordek hit a homerun to
break the 0 – 0 tie against the Inferno in the fourth inning Inferno Patrick Madden answered back in
the fifth by hitting a two-run homer against the Knights to gain the lead. Magic Trey Calhoun hit his first homerun
of the season. Yankees Game Ball Award went to Brandon Singleton for a huge day
at the plate. Bombers Hope Hershey won the game ball for outstanding hitting 3 for 3 at bats, including a double. While in the field as pitcher she made an incredible play at the plate. Marlins Chris Grubbs showed great skill at the plate and a high tolerance for pain while playing shortstop. Jacob Bochnia earned his Weekly Captain role with two nice hits. Knights
(coach Pellicer) Joe Pellicer, Mason Mcgovern and Charlie Hanson All earned "Game Ball Awards" for their outstanding play, helping the Knights to a 17-2 victory on Saturday! |

Week 2 – March 7 |
|
Suns (coach Babcock) Jacob Becker struck out 6 batters in 2 innings and also had a single and double at the plate; David Rivera-Clapp struck out 4 batters and scored 3 runs; Jay Babcock made a nice defensive play from the catcher position and kept his on-base percentage perfect for the season; Thomas Strickland squelched a potential Giants rally with a nice defensive play at 2nd base; Joseph Khouri kept alive a Suns 3rd inning rally with a key base hit. Marlins (coach Horkan) Brothers Gage Carter and Gavin
Carter combined for several nice putouts in the field and had a combined 5
RBIs. Raptors
(coach Koren) Alex Koren hit his second homerun of the season and Henry Jacqmein pitched for the first time this season and stuck out 2 batters. Bombers Hunter
Halloran hit
a homerun and Matthew Fryman hit
2 homeruns. All the
Bombers did an incredible job as a team playing the field and making the
outs. |

Week 1 – February 28 |
|
Knights
(coach Pellicer) Game ball presented to Lacy Tucker and Peyton Pichardo. Lacy Tucker was 5 for 5 and Peyton Pichardo knocked in the game clinching run to help the Knights to victory Raptors
(coach Koren) Alex Koren and Nate MacKay hit homeruns over the fence. Brian Koehler pitched for the first time and performed very well. Giants
(coach Foster) Manny Guerra, playing catcher, caught a popup in front of the plate and threw the ball to first base catching the base runner off guard for a double play. Magic
(coach Dodge) Trey Spratling-Williams hit an inside-the-park homerun. Donovan LaFavor pitched a scoreless inning in his first baseball game EVER. Jacob Jones pitched a scoreless inning. Ricky Dodge drove in 4 runs. Bombers (coach
Dell’Alba) Bryce Davis won the game ball for batting 3 for 3 including a triple, 3 runs, and 2 RBI's and in fielding he made a solo out as well as getting the ball so quickly from outfield to the cut-off man that the runner was chased back to first base. Knights
(coach Cordek) Dalton
Crabtree and Thomas Holder combined for a nice out at second base. Joshua
Crenshaw made a nice catch at second base to help end an inning, and Matthew
Cordek hit a long ball that bounced over the fence. Marlins (coach Horkan) Lee Berry of the Marlins made a sparkling play at shortstop when he fielded a hard ground ball and threw to third base where Gavin Carter made an excellent catch for a force out. |
