Hurricanes- What
a great game played by the Hurricanes. Every player hit well and was
making great plays in the field. The whole team signed our last game
ball and gave it to John Khouri as the most improved player of the season.
In our last game, he hit twice for 2 at bats with an RBI and stopped
play in the field with a beautiful catch as the cut-off man at second base.
It
has been a privilege to coach a team of such terrific kids. They all
clearly love playing baseball. Thank
you to the all my team parents for so much help and for making this a
fantastic season! -Coach
Victor. Knights- Jags- Everyone received a signed
game ball. They were all outstanding throughout the year and had a nice
rally at the end. Although we fell short, our kids held their heads
high. I am proud of each and everyone of them. Also, I would like
to tip my hat for the Knights. They were outstanding and were hitting
on all cylinders from start to finish. Congrats Knights!! |

Hurricanes emerged victorious with unwavering determination and defense.
John Khouri showed that determination and won a game ball going 2 for 2
at the plate making his first hits of the season. Nice job John!
Carson Dell'Alba was also awarded a game ball for tearing through first base

was safe because he didn't give up on the base and also enabled the RBI
to score. It was a great effort by the entire team! Dodgers - Tanner Holbrook and Bryce Lovelace both had a 3 for 3 day at the plate and a good day in the field. Yankees - Game ball went to Thomas Gelman for a great stop at shortstop and for hitting in the tying run. Phillies - Game Balls for the week went to Zachary Sherer and Ashton Beaver. Zachary Sherer was 3 for 3 from the plate, including 2 triples which where hammered to the fence and 4 RBIs. Like an Eagle stalking his prey from his perch at pitcher, Ashton promptly swooped down, scooped up and made three perfect throws to AJ Horkin at first base to put the finishing touches on a hard fought victory. Go Phillies! |
