| Author's Note |
Well, this epic has
been written for several months (ten and ten
days to be exact), with numerous breaks and
writers blocks, and finally, it is done. Now,
considering Terry Pratchett dishes out a new
book every 18 months, that doesn’t seem too bad
to me.
Who am I kidding? I took way too long with this
– I had a 4 month break from it – heck knows I
probably lost most of my audience. For that I am
sorry, but I make up for it by giving you a day
of my free time to finish it.
I'm sure there are many questions you may have
regarding the future of the characters in FotR,
but at this time there are no plans to make a
sequel or any kind of follow up. Flow of the
River was not only a lot of work, but it was a
good story, and I feel that any kind of follow
up or sequel might bring it down.
That is why I have to request that there be no
follow-ups written to the FotR universe. I’ve
found that people often are tempted to write
sequels to fics they enjoy. I ask that you
don't, and allow me to remain in control of the
universe I and KA have created.
I thank all of those who had the dedication to
follow this through for so long, and for those
that will continue to discover, read and play
Flow of the River long after this post is made.
So, in a way, this is for you. The member, the
casual guest, everyone who has ever read this
epic – I dedicate it to you. Most of all, I
dedicate it to Kanohi Akaku, for his tireless
efforts to get the game done, and for writing
the story (The Biological Chronicles), that
sparked Flow of the River and it’s little empire
off.

I only hope that you had as much fun
reading it as I did writing it. |
Cheers everyone.
