SKIING
Big Boulder (1.5 miles) and Jack Frost (4 miles) are the two closest ski resorts to the property. Both resorts are owned/operated by the same company (www.big2resorts.com), allowing skiing at both resorts on the same lift ticket. Ski Jack Frost in the morning; come home for lunch and a nap, then head over to Big Boulder for some night skiing!

GOLF
Split Rock Resort (1 mile) – Newer resort type course - www.splitrockresort.com/golf.php. Mountain Laurel (<10 miles) – Decent course, very inexpensive - www.mountainlaurelgolf.com. Mahoning Valley Country Club (20 miles)– The best course in the area and also very inexpensive. I used to be a member here before it was bought and made semi-private in early 2005. Could not find a website but if you want to play, send an email and I will provide directions (well worth the 35 min ride).

The Pocono Mountains offer many more activities than just skiing and golfing.

RATES & RESERVATIONS
Our reservation times/days are flexible for your benefit. Many owners only rent Sat-Sat or Fri-Sun, as long as the home is vacant, it is yours if you want it! Don’t hesitate to inquire odd durations/times; we will work with you to make your experience as pleasant as possible! We are pet friendly, however, please clean up after your pet and keep them off the indoor furniture. Do not leave unattended in house unless crated.
Rate Information:
Peak Season: December 15th – March 26th, May 26th - September 12th Holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Years, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Special Event timeframes (See listing above under UPCOMING LOCAL EVENTS) will carry higher (than peak season) rates.

Reservation Policy:
Upon placing your reservation, a deposit in the amount of 50% of your total is due. Final payment is required 14 days prior to your arrival date.
Payment Methods: We prefer payment by check.
Security Deposit: A security deposit in the amount of $100 will be required. A separate check for this amount sent along with final payment has proved to work best. Upon proper notification from our cleaning service, we simply shred the check.
Cancellations: Reservations cancelled at least 14 days in advance will receive a full refund. Those cancelled in the 7-14 day window will receive 50% refund. No-shows will not be entitled to any refunds.
