Mission Statement

The FOCBA views as the purpose for our existence and we give our pledge to fulfill the following creed:

To use the tradition of fishing as a common ground for Christian Fellowship among its members and to witness and introduce our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to those who might not otherwise know Him.

To promote fishing as a family event.

To make fishing more productive through conservation and sportsmanship.

To promote Christian values, morality, honesty, and integrity in all we do.

To be responsible stewards of God’s gifts.

To pass on our knowledge of Christ and the tradition of fishing to others….and ask that they do the same.

To become "...FISHERS OF MEN" (Matthew 4:19)
To teach children and parents to fish emphasizing Christian values. (Proverbs 22:6)
To further teamwork, fellowship and unity among Christians. (1 Cor. 12:12 - 26)
To be positive role models serving all with the "...LOVE OF GOD" (1 Cor. 13:1 - 13)
To be good stewards of God's creation.(Psalms 24:1 - 2)
